Results of the Spring Grant Round

This year’s spring grant round received 28 applications for assistance. From among the applications received, the Board of Directors approved 21 grants for Partners’ clients and collaborators, totaling 1,050,000 Kč. Most of these grants were for clients who provide long-term care for seriously ill children, or for those who are themselves battling a terminal illness.

The next round will take place in the fall.

Who We Help 

Grants for families in need

We provide financial support to clients, counsellors and employees in difficult life situations to help them better cope with unexpected financial challenges.

Respite care for carers

We provide financial support to organisations that offer short-term respite (i.e. respite services) to carers in the form of specialised stays for disadvantaged children.

How to Apply for Help

As part of our charity rounds (held twice a year), we accept applications through our financial advisors or partners.

In the event of urgent financial difficulties that cannot be postponed, you may apply even outside the grant cycle. However, the applicant must be a client or partner of Partners or a close family member.

Only our advisors may apply for a grant.

They may apply on behalf of clients, partners, and employees of the Partners Group who are facing adverse life circumstances that are causing them financial difficulties.

The maximum amount per application is 50,000 CZK.

Nonprofit organizations providing respite care may apply for support directly at nadace@partners.cz.

Anyone to improve their financial awareness

Promotion of personal development and financial literacy of people of all age groups in the Czech Republic.

Our Latest Help

In autumn 2024, we distributed CZK 2,650,000 to people affected by floods.

In spring 2025, we distributed almost CZK 1,000,000 as part of a grant wave.

Details of the assistance:

 

Spring 2025: We approved 20 applications. These were our long-term clients or even colleagues who found themselves in difficult life situations due to their own health or that of their children, whom they have to care for. We distributed almost CZK 1 million.

Floods in 2024: A total of 53 families or individuals received assistance from us when they needed it most. Each of them received a quick cash contribution from the flood grant at a time when nature had severely affected their lives, and some of them had even lost the roof over their heads.

Foundation funding

All money from the Foundation goes towards specific assistance. We do not keep anything for operating costs or salaries.

The People in the Foundation

Lada Kičmerová

Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees

She graduated from the College of Economics and completed a course in journalism at the Faculty of Social Science, Charles University. She also studied in France and the USA. She joined Partners in 2009 as Marketing and PR Director and subsequently moved to the position of Client Service Director. Today, she is also Vice-Chair of the Management Board. She also holds an important position in the management of Partners Bank, a.s. Apart from her work, she enjoys her two small children. Helping others is her mission adding balance to her life.

Jitka Lucbauerová

Member of the Board of Trustees

She has been active in the world of finance since 2001. In 2007, she was one of the founders of Partners. Today, she is one of nine partners involved in its management with the aim of always being on the client's side. Therefore, she creates an environment for her colleagues where they can trade, build and lead teams as employees of a strong company and at the same time do their own business successfully. Contributing to charities and helping financially where needed is a normal part of her life.

Martin Švec

Member of the Board of Trustees

Martin has his heart in the right place. He studied financial mathematics and actuarial theory at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. Since 2019, he has been CEO and Management Board Chairman of Simplea, the life insurance company built by himself. The insurance company emphasizes human approach and pays indemnity even if it does not have to. In addition, he holds the position of CEO and Board Chairman at the Rentea penzijní společnost, a.s., pension company. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his 3 children, acting as voluntary firefighter and helping out whenever he can.
